Embedded within CTC’s Strategic Marketing department and reporting into the Community Impact team, the Consultant, Community Impact will support CTC’s ongoing community impact initiatives and implementation of our community impact strategy.

The ideal candidate brings experience in partnerships, community development, impact reporting, and communications with a proven track record for rallying cross functional teams to meet shared goals. The individual brings an entrepreneurial mindset and has experience working in matrixed organizations. They will use their experience and passion in the space to educate and influence those around them to create value for our brands, our customers, employees, Dealers, and investors. This is an opportunity to flex multiple skills including strategy, brand development, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do

Working collaboratively with teams including Strategic Marketing, Communications, Dealers, Jumpstart, and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, the role will:

  • Support the development and implementation of CTC’s community impact strategy across the organization, emphasizing authentic social support that drives brand trust
  • Support initiatives and partnerships to help bring the strategy to life, managing relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ensure that relationships with charitable partners are handled with tact and sensitivity, taking care to understand the communities they serve and how we can best support
  • Gather and analyze data related to CTC’s community impact initiatives for reporting and program evaluation purposes
  • Support Community Impact reporting, disclosures, Board reporting, etc., to ensure consistent measurement and reporting of community impact progress and impact
  • Provide data-driven insights to support the development of authentic social support strategies
  • Support storytelling and communication development for customers, employees, and other key stakeholders highlighting CTC’s community impact efforts
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to community impact activities 
  • Track budgets, partnership investments, and donations across the family of companies
  • As required, act quickly to assess and respond to support requests in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment

What you bring
 

  • 2 – 5 years of directly relevant corporate and/or non-profit experience
  • Passion for social impact, with a belief in the ability of corporate actions to drive positive change
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage sensitive relationships 
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a role requiring quick action and decision-making
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change 
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, social sciences, international development or related field
  • Experience in the charitable sector, or a deep understanding of the sector as it relates to grant-making, impact measurement and community development is an asset
  • Experience in mass retail and/or a publicly traded organization is an asset

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$27.18 and CA$35.89
