Job Description:
Associate Manager – Digital Marketing
Reporting to the Manager, Digital (eCommerce) Merchandising, the Associate Manager, Digital Merchandising will be a vital member of our Digital (eCommerce) Merchandising team at SportChek. This position will support driving the Digital vision and strategy through eCommerce merchandising using data and insights. You will impact the business through improving brand consideration and trust, while increasing engagement and sales through meaningful and effective initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on optimizing the site experience and leveraging data analysis to identify online opportunities. Collaboration with various teams across the business is crucial to ensure the successful execution. Key performance indicators (KPIs) for online categories and sales will serve as important metrics for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute merchandising updates on the website to maximize sales and provide a best-in-class site experience.
- Utilize customer insights, analytics, and reporting to support decision-making processes, analyze results, and identify areas of opportunity on weekly basis to stakeholders.
- Establish and foster cross-functional relationships with teams across the business to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Develop creative strategies to get customers to product through homepage, promotional events, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with other members of the eCommerce team to maintain workflow continuity and meet deadlines.
- Work with internal and external partners to troubleshoot, track, and resolve any back-end system issues.
- Participate in related special projects and new initiatives as required.
What you bring:
- 3+ years of digital merchandising, merchandising, eCommerce content management, or site operations experience
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms
Strong analytical skills (analyzing, organizing, visualizing, and presenting data) with experience in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills and experience managing projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Understanding of eCommerce best practices, UX principles, SEO fundamentals, Marketing and Digital Marketing principles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills to drive effective merchandising tactics and promotional strategies.
- Critical thinking skills with natural curiosity and desire to learn.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$64,000 and CA$80,000
