The Associate Manager of Taxonomy and Restrictions plays a critical role in optimizing site navigation and ensuring compliance with product restrictions across our digital platforms. This position is responsible for strategizing and maintaining website taxonomy, managing rule governance for add-to-cart and ship-to-home eligibility, and leading a team of Digital Consultants to deliver business requirements that enhance the customer experience

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop and maintain taxonomy strategies to ensure consistent, intuitive navigation across all supported banners
  • Oversee taxonomy change requests and filter optimization to improve product discoverability
  • Manage digital rules through the Rules UI to meet legal requirements, business guidelines, and dealer network needs
  • Ensure Online Restrictions inbox is maintained and triaged promptly
  • Lead and coach a team of Digital Consultants, setting priorities and monitoring performance to meet evolving business needs
  • Foster a customer-centric culture by integrating data insights into daily operations
  • Act as a subject matter expert and liaison with Site Merchandising, Product Content, IT, and Data Governance teams
  • Influence decisions on systems, processes, and strategies to support digital transformation initiatives
  • Utilize analytics and industry insights to refine navigational strategies and drive conversion
  • Support change management for new tools and platform migrations

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Merchandising, eCommerce or Digital
  • Strong working knowledge of digital and customer experience methodologies
  • Absolute commitment to delivering consumer-focused initiatives
  • Energetic, motivated, self-starter with the ability to function in an environment with a high level of ambiguity and change
  • Experience working on cross-functionally driven initiatives; the ability to build partnerships across teams
