Job Title: Associate Project Manager
Location: Toronto or London (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
- Take accountability for own deliverables keeping in mind team goals and objectives.
- Provide reporting and analysis to Program and Project Managers on an as needed basis.
- Provide tool support and training for Project Managers and other resources (Clarity or other PPM, JIRA/Confluence).
- Provide support to larger or more complex projects through financial, project and performance reporting to promote effective communication and decision making.
- Portfolio Support; provide support to strategic initiative manager.
- Data entry and validation of project specific information for reporting, track project costs and ensure reconciliation in financial reporting systems.
- Contribute to knowledge base, culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Support organizational change and improvement, including supporting the implementation and adherence to changes in processes and practices.
- Ensure the effective execution of smaller projects or initiatives to deliver a product that satisfies stakeholder expectations and achieves project success criteria.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years combination of Project Management education and experience in supporting/leading projects.
- Experience administering/supporting Clarity, JIRA/Confluence and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of project management practices, methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Expertise in reporting, data collection and analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of resource management planning and support.
- Ability to manage a high volume of activity and competing priorities.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to train and share knowledge effectively.
- Experience with Power BI reports/dashboards an asset.
- Experience with software delivery lifecycle, project management or support role
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$65.00 and CA$70.00
