Position Title: Aviation (AVN) Mechanic / Technician
Location: Trenton, ON
Duration: Full-Time
Salary Range: $80K-$90K per annum

Responsibilities

  • Detect aircraft engine, airframe and aircraft system problems and adjust/repair systems resolving all defects/unserviceable abilities including disassembly, replacement and reassembly; and related systems support such as disturbed systems checks and functional checks. according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
  • Repair and overhaul of aircraft engine, airframe and aircraft systems;
  • Install or modify engine, airframe and aircraft systems;
  • Perform routine maintenance;
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor; and
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Must meet one of the following eligibility streams:
  1. a graduate of recognized aircraft maintenance program,
    1. hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) “M2” license, or
    2. be qualified as an Aviation Technician (AVN) with the Canadian Forces, or
    3. be a graduate of an equivalent foreign military/civilian basic trade-training program.
  2. Completed C130J Hercules type course and qualified on-type;
  3. Hold a current C130J Hercules endorsement/authorization
Security Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain and possess clearance of Secret
  • Must pass the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (“CGP”) Security Assessment Application; and meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) requirements if required.
