Position Title: Aviation (AVN) Mechanic / Technician
Location: Trenton, ON

Responsibilities
- Detect aircraft engine, airframe and aircraft system problems and adjust/repair systems resolving all defects/unserviceable abilities including disassembly, replacement and reassembly; and related systems support such as disturbed systems checks and functional checks. according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
- Repair and overhaul of aircraft engine, airframe and aircraft systems;
- Install or modify engine, airframe and aircraft systems;
- Perform routine maintenance;
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor; and
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Must meet one of the following eligibility streams:
- a graduate of recognized aircraft maintenance program,
- hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) “M2” license, or
- be qualified as an Aviation Technician (AVN) with the Canadian Forces, or
- be a graduate of an equivalent foreign military/civilian basic trade-training program.
- Completed C130J Hercules type course and qualified on-type;
- Hold a current C130J Hercules endorsement/authorization
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and possess clearance of Secret
- Must pass the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (“CGP”) Security Assessment Application; and meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) requirements if required.
