Job Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 3-6 months – expendable onward
location: 1x per week onsite.
Story Behind the Need
Business group: We are running the software currency transformation with initial focus on US nexus. This includes validating evidence as a part of the testing control functions and significant amounts of reporting.
Projects: The candidate will be a part of a single project with multiple processes which is in the mid-final phase. They will have exposure to many stakeholders and the work is highly scrutinizing.

The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
Typical Day in Role:
Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Supports one or more highly complex business processes
Works on multiple projects and enjoys contributing as a project team member
Serves as a liaison between the business and risk community and the IT organization in order to provide effective analysis and oversight of key processes
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• At least 3-4 years of being highly skilled at Excel or similar data processing programs specifically data automation and PowerBI.
• 5 years of practicing good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Overall, 10+ years of experience as business analyst
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions.
• Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage.
• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadline.
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details.
Soft Skills Required:
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of interpersonal skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level.
Education & Certificates:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
Evidence of technical skills through prior projects and related work.
