You will be part of the Resilience Analytics team that is part of Technology Internal Controls and Regulatory Management (ICRM) for Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) at client. GTEP ICRM team plays an important role in the Bank’s Risk Governance Framework, providing First Line of Defense for GTEP and the Bank for all technology risk domains, including Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Software Currency, Disaster and Backup Recovery, Third Party Management, and Audit and Regulatory issue remediation.
Project: Stable and resilient systems drive delivery of reliable business applications to our customers. The Resilience Analytics team’s mandate is to design metrics, gather data, analyse and provide insights to executives, execution teams, board representatives, and external regulators. Many of our projects involve the designing of new metrics and gathering of new data sources where creativity, and relationship building with possible sources is critical. We tell our story of resilience to a very senior audience and as such, a command of English is important as is the ability to analyze data and find insights. We work with process owners, technology owners, application owners, various risk, audit, and regulatory bodies across the globe.

Typical Day in Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Resilience Data Analytics, the Business Analyst /Quality Assurance for Data Solution (BAQA) will be a senior contributor to the overall success of the Technology Internal Controls and Regulatory Management for GTEP by ensuring goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. The BAQA conducts all activities in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

- Your goal is to tell our resilience and reliability story while developing the business requirements around 3 specific data problems:
- Where are data backups taken and stored? And how do they contribute to sofware resilience
- How can we streamline our incident reporting to regulators
- How can we enhance predictive analytics around our disaster recovery non-compliance numbers.
- You will interface with multiple technology teams (back-up tool owners, application owners) to find data sources. You will work to normalize the data regardless of source to identify and measure key metrics. You will collaborate with app owners and create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) with the necessary specifications to develop data analytics solutions, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Work closely with end users, and business teams to understand business needs, conduct gap analysis and requirements assessments as needed
- Coordinate discovery discussions and other meetings to advance project goals
- Partner with Architecture on understanding the design and integration
- Create impact analysis document, User stories, Design workflows for implementation
- Deliver and enhance new and current solutions and applications
- Be involved in the full life cycle of a project, responsible for producing actionable and complete specifications, writing production quality code, and implementation
- Understand existing database schema, identify gaps and recommend solutions
- Design & execute test cases and automate where possible, including functional and non-functional testing, regression testing as well as performance testing
- Support the solution in production (as needed)
- Improve the end user experience by finding scalable solutions and addressing complex ad hoc queries.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Coach and train end users & team members as needed
- Participate and run SCRUM Meetings (as needed).
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
- 5+ years’ experience progressive experience in Business Analysis and in organizational change management to demonstrate the ability to gather requirements from business units and translate business needs into functional specifications, guiding the development of data analytics tools and systems.
- 5+ years’ experience creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) that outline the necessary specifications for developing solutions.
- 5+ years’ experience working with key stakeholders within all business functions understanding their needs to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- 3+ years of in establishing metrics and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of the initiatives implemented including predictive analytics & Forecasting experience.
- 3+ years Quality assurance experience in Data solutions
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- You have experience working with back-ups and restores to at least 2 backup solutions (NetBackup, Tivoli, Veritas, HP Solutions)
- experience in writing for and presenting to a Director+ audience & can demonstrate the ability to synthesize quantitative & qualitative information and content for this audience.
- You have experience working in an agile environment.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Financial industry experience
- Risk Management, Organizational Change Management or ITIL experience or certifications is an asset.
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLM), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other cloud technologies.
- ?Power BI & ETL expertise

- You have proven interpersonal and negotiation skills that allow you to build consensus and obtain co-operation from both support teams and senior management.
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
- Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

- The ideal candidate would have previous client experience with IT operations experience especially backups. Has Solutioning experience in Data analysis in his recent position. Great communications skills. Power BI & ETL expertise
Education:
- Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required
- Certified Network Technician
