Our current AD infrastructure team is focused on maintaining operations, implementing upgrades, and addressing day-to-day challenges.
Projects:
Hire a business analyst with expertise in IT infrastructure and governance to:
Analyze and document processes: develop clear documentation of current Active Directory related business processes, workflows, and procedures.
Develop governance frameworks: create comprehensive policies, standards, and procedures to guide Active Directory management and ensure compliance with security compliance, regulatory compliance, and organizational requirements.
Facilitate stakeholder communication: act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment that leads to effective communication.
Identify improvement opportunities: provide recommendations to streamline processes and enhance governance practices.

Candidate Value Proposition:
As a business analyst for Active Directory infrastructure governance, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and documenting business processes, creating governance frameworks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements. This role demands a blend of strong analytical skills, technical understanding of Active Directory and governance expertise.
Typical day in a role:
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and requirements related to Active Directory infrastructure.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define governance policies, standards, and procedures for Active Directory infrastructure.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including process maps, requirements specifications and governance guidelines.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify business needs and technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational requirements within the Active Directory environment.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and governance enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between IT teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable business insights.
- Support project management efforts by tracking milestones and deliverables related to governance initiatives.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- 5+ years of experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
- Hands on experience to document complex processes and develop governance policies.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis tools such as Visio, lucid chart or similar.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, identity management systems, and governance frameworks.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience working with a large back or a major financial service company is an asset.
- Experience with SQL and ability to run database queries to extract data from MS SQL or Oracle database.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices or other governance methodologies is a plus.
Soft Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education & Certificates:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Business, or Information Systems
Best VS. Average Candidate:
Experience with Active Directory, identity management systems, and governance frameworks will stand out to the HM. Should be able to analyze and document business processes, workflows, and requirements related to Active Directory infrastructure.

2nd round – 30 mins – teams – HM/Panel
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$75.00 and CA$85.00
