Position Title: Capital Markets – Analyst/Developer – Generic

Story Behind the Need
Business group: GTA – GBME FICC& Equity Trading
Project: This project is a part XVA team, with works on counter party credit risk trading platform, This is a modernization project where business is upgrading the current platform from Angular 7 to 17.
Reason for request: new requirement
Candidate Value Proposition:
- Exposure to work on a Core platform for derivative trading, more exposure in capital markets.
- Tech stack is built on Kubernetes & Rancher, hence the candidate will have opportunity to work on the latest tech stack
Typical Day in Role
- The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. Angular latest versions) to support business requirements.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years’ experience required in UI Development in Angular.
- Recent experience in Angular V14 or above is required.
- Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Prior experience in Upgradation project from Angular old versions to new versions.
- Experience in Capital Markets (Derivative trading)
- Experience with AG grid
- Experience in JIRA, Bit bucket, Confluence.
Soft Skills:
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
- Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
- Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Best vs Average: Open source contributions, Git repository of hobby projects.
Top 5 banks, Tier 1 company background
Degrees or certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

Structure and Format:
- 1st round – MS teams – Meet & Greet followed by coding test with screen sharing – 45-60mins
- 2nd round – technical round with the developer team – 60mins
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$75.00
