Position Title: Capital Markets – Business Analyst – IT
Location: Toronto, ON

Story Behind the Need
Business group: GBME – Regulatory & Compliance Technology oversees Regulatory reporting across a number of geographic regions.
Project: GBME – Regulatory & Compliance Technology Initiatives is seeking a BA to support their European Regulatory Reporting team. The BA would be supporting a MIFID 2 migration initiative and tasks would be assigned daily based on urgency/project needs.

Typical Day in the Role:
Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities Supports one or more highly complex business processes
Works on multiple projects as a project team member Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Address daily assigned tasks with urgency, and working in a Scrum alongside Developers and Bas
Must Have Skills:
10+ years experience as a BA
5+ years experience in Regulatory Reporting
Prior experience with KX Regulatory Reporting platform (MIFID 2)
Prior experience with IHS Markit Reg Reporting platform (SFTR)
Nice to Have Skills
Prior client Experience
Soft Skills.
Excellent oral/written communication, relationship management, and time management skills
Fast learner with strong analytical skills and improvement mindset.
Best vs Average: The ideal candidate would have a sound understanding of global banking and strong regulatory experience.
Education:
University degree in relevant field preferred

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$100.00
