As a Business Consultant, you will take on the rewarding and exciting role of leading the end-to-end roadmap and projects within it. Your expertise will be instrumental in streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, and maximizing the potential of service management platforms and tools. By leveraging your analytical skills and deep understanding of customer needs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a Product Owner, leading and directing project team members and stakeholders to understand the scope and vision of ServiceNow and New Service Introduction Roadmap projects.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, helping them adapt processes to fit the future state. You take a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and negotiation.
- Build trust with stakeholders through your strong knowledge of project processes, operational applications, business products, services, and value chains. You will offer optimal strategies and lead solutions where manual alternatives are required.
- Provide input on the end-to-end Roadmap and assist with business cases.
- Document business cases, measure benefits, and ensure accountability for benefit measurement post-launch.
- Provide financial recommendations based on your keen understanding of financial principles.
- Create Project Visions and provide key inputs on Project Charters.
- Create quality Epics and User Stories within the project scope.
- Lead and facilitate meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrate systems knowledge, including system architecture and user technology usage.
- Help stakeholders navigate change by identifying and communicating change impacts.
- Provide expert guidance on processes, requirement writing, and testing plans.
- Provide regular status updates to leaders and project managers, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.

- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
- Expertise in leading and completing complex tasks on transformational projects.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
- Advanced planning, performance, and business analysis skills with a focus on recommending solutions based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Knowledge of project gating methodology, Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Project Development Lifecycle, and DevOps.
- Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Kanban, and Scrum.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Applications for efficient communication.
Great-to-haves:
- Post-secondary diploma or certification.
- Business Analysis certification/courses.
- ServiceNow certifications (Business Process Analyst).
- 5-7 years of experience in an analytical role.
- Certification in ITIL, Agile, Lean Six Sigma.
- Broad knowledge of telecommunications and organizational management.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$78.58 and CA$78.58
