Construction Manager – Pre-Construction

Location: Sparwood, BC
Estimated Contract Length: 3-months (June-August). While the initial scope is pre-construction, there may be opportunities to continue supporting projects into the construction phase.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager will be responsible for various pre-construction activities across multiple water projects. Their role will involve coordination with and support for key project team functions, including but not limited to engineering, HSEC, procurement and supply chain management, information management, project controls, and risk management.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Civil Pre-Construction Management with projects focused on Water, Environmental.
- Experience coordinating project team functions such as engineering, HSEC, procurement and supply chain management, information management, project controls, and risk management.
- Civil/Pipeline project experience
- Experience working with Instream Habitats or Revegetation a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-construction oversight and support across several water-related construction projects for our client.
- Focus areas include civil and pipeline, in-stream habitat, and revegetation projects.
- Coordinate with and support key project team functions including Risk Management, Project Controls, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, HSEC, and Engineering
- Ensure compliance and proper execution of work prior to project launch.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$120.00 and CA$135.00
