Job Summary
Reporting the Manager of Brand Strategy and Campaigns at Marks, the Product Strategy Specialist serves as the strategic connector between merchandising and marketing, responsible for elevating key product stories within the broader brand narrative. This role develops product-focused marketing strategies that align with seasonal priorities and consumer needs, ensuring that product messaging is compelling, consistent, and aligned with brand values. The specialist collaborates closely with merchandising, creative, and digital teams to bring product stories to life across channels and contributes to the seasonal briefing process with product insights and positioning. With a deep understanding of consumer behavior and product trends, this role helps drive product relevance and differentiation in the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop product-focused marketing strategies that fulfill retail storytelling priorities.
- Collaborate with merchandising and creative teams to elevate product stories and develop seasonal campaigns.
- Own and lead a key national brand partners and stories.
- Ensure product messaging is consistent and customer-centric.
- Contribute product insights to seasonal briefing and campaign planning.
- Analyze product campaign performance and recommend optimizations.
- Support integration of product stories across all marketing channels.
- Stay informed on product trends and competitive offerings.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years in product marketing, merchandising, or brand strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and product positioning.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in campaign performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Retail or apparel experience is an asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$44,000 and CA$73,000
