Contract Analyst:
Position Overview:
The Contract Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and managing various technology infrastructure related contracts and agreements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will ensure that all contracts comply with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Review and Analysis: Examine contract terms and conditions to verify compliance with company policies. Identify potential risks or issues and propose solutions.
- Drafting and Negotiation: Assist in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts in collaboration with the legal team, procurement department, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Contract Management: Maintain a comprehensive database of all contracts, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and terminations. Track key dates and obligations.
- Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement in processes, templates, and playbooks.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant regulations, and company standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal departments (e.g., IT teams, finance, procurement) to gather necessary information for contract negotiation and fulfillment.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments on contract terms and conditions to identify potential technical or financial impacts.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract status, compliance issues, and risk analysis for senior management.
- Other Duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract analysis or a similar role.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with IT contract management is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90,000 and CA$120,000
