Contract/Claims Manager

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day administration of commercial terms under the contract(s), working closely with the Owner’s technical and construction management teams and providing commercial subject-matter expertise as required.
  • Review, evaluate, and support management of payment applications, change management processes, performance incentives, and commercial trackers related to claims, disputes, changes, and payments.
  • Support the management of contractual and extra-contractual claims and disputes, including mediation, expert panel/referee processes, litigation, and arbitration, in coordination with legal and leadership teams.
  • Prepare commercial analysis, valuations, and contractual correspondence, and maintain commercial documentation, systems, and SharePoint records under the direction of the Province’s Commercial & Contracts Director.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through participation in commercial communities of practice, lesson-learned initiatives, training activities, and attendance at key design and construction meetings.

Preferred Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Formal education or training in contract management, commercial management, or project delivery.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$95.00
