Job Title: Controls Tester
Location: Brampton, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 6 Months
Candidate Value Proposition:
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of technology areas, including cloud, architecture, service management, and security. This role allows for deep dives into subject matter from a control perspective and offers the chance to add value at the grassroots level.
Typical Day in Role:
• Identification of control gaps
• Documentation of control descriptions
• Control testing
• Process documentation
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have Skills:
1. 4+ years of experience in a governance and control role
2. Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity risk management principles
3. Ability to view problems analytically
4. IT control testing and reporting knowledge
5. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
6. Working knowledge of data analysis tools
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Information Sciences, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$65.00 and CA$85.00
