Job Title: Cost Control Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
    
Estimated Duration: 12 Months

We are seeking a Cost Control Analyst to join our Project Controls team supporting crude and natural gas transportation projects. This role provides full-cycle cost management for multiple capital and maintenance projects, typically ranging from $300K–$10MM in value and lasting one to two years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage project control budgets, forecasts, and cost performance metrics.

  • Partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to track, analyze, and report project costs, variances, and cash flows.

  • Implement project control standards and processes, including baseline management, change control, risk assessments, and stage gate deliverables.

  • Prepare clear and timely reports for project teams, leadership, and executives.

  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate performance and identify cost risks.

  • Support project closeout activities and continuous improvement of cost control tools and reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of experience in project cost and schedule management, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, or power industries.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.

  • Professional certification (AACE CCC/CCE, PMP) is an asset.

  • Proficiency in Oracle, EcoSys, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Power BI, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to support multiple projects concurrently.

  • Experience developing and enhancing cost control processes and tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with dispersed teams.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $50.00 and $55.00
