Description:
- Data Analysis – interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) – conducted in relation to major data events and/or application/platform changes to ensure no material impact to data & products which could adversely impact customers and/or consumers
- Data quality investigations and enhancements – investigating data anomalies identified from internal monitoring or direct customer inquiries and leading initiatives to address concerns and enhance quality
Job Descriptions:
- 7+ years of experience with Business & Data Analysis roles. Financial Services work experience is a bonus.
- Relevant experience working with big data, data management, business insights, and/or data quality
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong scenario analysis, tactical evaluation, and analytical and problem-solving skills leading to practical business application and ability to work in an agile environment
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate analytical and statistical concepts and results
- Must be a self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills, motivated by challenges, and possess a customer-focused, results-oriented attitude
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and Linux command line tools; a plus if you have experience with any combination of Tableau, Ab Initio, Python and R
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$80.00
