Position Title: DB2 Administrator
The opportunity:
Exciting opportunity for a DB2 Administrator to work on enterprise applications. We are looking for highly motivated professionals with good leadership and client interaction skills having strong expertise in IT delivery, data solutions and direct experience with deploying and managing DB2 applications. You will be required to participate or led both technical and data technical implementations.
This is an year long contract with a high possibility of extension, require to travel 2 days a week (not specified days) at client location Downtown Toronto.
Mandatory:
- 10+ years of experience as DB2 Administrator having experience with any OS (preferably Linux or AIX)
- DB2 Performance tuning : 5+ years
- Data volume : experience with processing large volume of data through ETL
- Working knowledge of Linux / Unix commands.
Nice to have:
- 2+ years of experience with DB2 running on AIX
- Experience with Batch Jobs Automation : Autosys or CA7
- Exposure to working with AML applications will be a plus
