You’ll help maintain alignment between design intent, documentation, and field implementation while supporting safe and regulated operations in a highly controlled environment.

You’ll be involved throughout the full lifecycle of change initiatives—from early definition and planning through execution, validation, and closeout—ensuring that all updates are properly documented, reviewed, and implemented in accordance with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, track, and manage technical change packages through their full lifecycle using an enterprise asset/work management system
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, assign tasks, and maintain alignment across engineering, operations, and support teams
  • Guide change items through structured lifecycle stages, ensuring readiness and completeness at each phase
  • Apply risk-based approaches to evaluate and classify changes, ensuring appropriate levels of review and documentation
  • Facilitate reviews, approvals, and verification activities to maintain governance and oversight
  • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation such as traceability records, design artifacts, and validation/commissioning materials
  • Identify, log, and resolve technical or process-related issues through formal tracking mechanisms
  • Support field execution, testing, and handover activities, including managing updates that arise during implementation
  • Ensure all work aligns with internal quality standards, configuration management practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Handle updates, revisions, cancellations, and final closeout activities in accordance with established procedures

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
  • Several years of experience working with structured engineering or technical change processes in a regulated or complex environment
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise asset or work management systems
  • Background in preparing technical documentation, design outputs, or test/validation materials
  • Familiarity with controlled procedures, standards, and lifecycle-based project execution
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Adaptable and outcome-focused mindset

Preferred Experience

  • Professional engineering designation (or in progress)
  • Understanding of structured governance models and cross-functional stakeholder roles in technical projects
  • Experience preparing traceability documentation, technical specifications, and material lists
  • Exposure to structured change documentation and lifecycle tracking practices
  • Familiarity with installation, testing, or commissioning activities in an industrial or regulated setting
