About Our Client

Our client is a Canadian organization delivering a large-scale, long-term facilities and operational support program within the defence and aviation sector. Formed through a partnership between established Canadian industry leaders, the organization supports a federally regulated customer and is currently expanding its internal teams to support ongoing program delivery.

The organization operates from a central head office in the Ottawa area, with multiple operational locations across Canada. It works closely with government stakeholders and subcontractors to manage facilities, infrastructure, technology, and operational services.

Job Overview


The Facilities Project Coordinator supports the delivery and transition of a new office location during active construction and setup. This role focuses on coordinating vendors, maintaining project documentation, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring schedules and budgets remain on track.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vendor and contractor activities related to construction, furniture, IT and network services, security systems, AV, interior design, and signage

  • Support office transition and move-in activities across multiple stakeholders

  • Track schedules, budgets, and deliverables to support on-time project completion

  • Maintain project documentation, change logs, and compliance records

  • Assist with safety, regulatory, and contractual compliance requirements

  • Support communication between internal teams, vendors, and leadership

  • Assist with risk identification and mitigation efforts

  • Other duties as required


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in construction, facilities, or project coordination

  • Experience working with third-party vendors and procurement processes

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to obtain required security clearances

  • French language skills are an asset

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$28.00 and CA$36.00
