Job Title: Finance Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver optimized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Business Central (BC). This role focuses on requirements gathering, process improvement, solution design validation, testing coordination, and production support across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis and Requirements
· Gather and document functional requirements from Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
· Conduct fit-gap analysis across F&O and Business Central.
· Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs).
· Recommend process improvements aligned with Microsoft best practices.
Solution Design and Configuration
· Configure standard ERP functionality.
· Support chart of accounts, posting profiles, workflows, and approval hierarchies.
· Validate system setup across legal entities and business units.
· Ensure alignment with global template and governance standards.
Testing and Deployment
· Develop test scripts and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
· Coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
· Support data migration validation and reconciliation.
· Assist in go-live planning and hypercare support.
Reporting and Data
· Support reporting requirements including financial reports, operational dashboards, and KPI analysis.
· Work with reporting teams to validate data integrity.
· Support integrations and master data governance.
Production Support and Continuous Improvement
· Analyze incidents and recommend long-term solutions.
· Identify automation and optimization opportunities.
· Support enhancement backlog prioritization.
· Provide user training and documentation.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of ERP Business Analyst experience.
· 3+ years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O and/or Business Central.
· Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and inventory/costing processes.
· Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.
· Strong stakeholder management skills.
Technical Skills
· ERP configuration in D365 F&O and/or Business Central.
· Knowledge of data entities, posting logic, dimensions, and intercompany accounting.
· Basic knowledge of integrations, including APIs and OData.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.
Soft Skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
· Ability to challenge business processes constructively.
· Clear documentation skills.
· Ability to work across technical and functional teams.
· Comfortable working in global, multi-entity environments.
Preferred Certifications
· Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant.
· Microsoft Certified: Business Central Functional Consultant.
· Agile / Scrum certification is an asset.

Primary location: Mississauga, Ontario
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$111,000 and CA$125,000
