Job Title: General Labourer
Location: Winnipeg, MB (Onsite)
Estimated Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
– Perform general labour duties including lifting, shoveling, and carrying materials
– Load and unload construction materials manually or using light equipment
– Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work site
– Assist equipment operators, pipefitters, and other trades as required
– Operate and monitor pumps and support site dewatering activities
– Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and vehicles
– Operate light-duty equipment such as pickup trucks and skid steers when required
– Follow all health and safety policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
– Previous construction or labour experience is an asset but not required
– Ability to meet the physical demands of the role including lifting heavy loads and working long hours outdoors
– Valid Class 5 driver’s license is an asset
– Experience with concrete work or pipe installation is considered an asset
– Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
– Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
– Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening and criminal background check
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$58.00 and CA$44,000
