The opportunity
With the client's growth in meeting the demands for energy across North America, we are now seeking a Recruitment Consultant to partner with clients in business unit and/or corporate client groups.
In delivering recruitment consulting expertise to the business, the Recruiting Consultant works to partner with business leaders and their hiring teams, along with our human resources partners, to meet the talent acquisition needs of the business. This position is part of a geographically dispersed team who together provide support to clients across North America.

You will play a unique role in our business by attracting and assessing candidates for our company, while delivering a memorable experience for both our candidates and our hiring teams.
What You’ll do
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans utilizing social media, online tools, referrals, networks, and data mining
- Continually seek new sourcing options to build and maintain a network of qualified candidates through labor market research and continuous relationship management, aligning with corporate goals of an inclusive, diverse workforce
- Take a candidate-centric approach to recruitment related activities and interactions
- Exceed expectations by guiding candidates and hiring leaders through our selection process, maintaining contact throughout the recruitment process
- Build and maintain client relationships, understand the value of client service and consistently delivering quality to all stakeholders both internal and external
- Screen and interview job applicants, prepare and present a slate of candidates to hiring leaders within an appropriate and consistent timeline
- Identify trends based on applicant demographics and funnel metrics to recommend solutions for efficiency gains without compromising hiring quality or stakeholder experience
- Be committed to continuous improvement, suggesting process adjustments to create efficiencies and develop best practices
- Collaborate with HR partners to achieve Company and business unit goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the full-life cycle of the recruiting process including recruiting and sourcing techniques
- Customer service and sales skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize one’s own work
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationship
- Familiarity with behavioral interviewing, probing, and assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing software, and employee databases
- Ability to think systemically and anticipate impacts to other groups, systems and processes
- Ability to analyze complex issues and determine the best solution or course of action to meet client needs
- Ability to influence at all levels within their client area and as a valued consultant to the hiring team
- Proven ability to balance multiple and sometimes competing priorities within tight timelines
- Knowledgeable of employer branding techniques
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$35.00 and CA$50.00
