Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC controls and mechanical systems.
- Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
- Manage vendor relationships for necessary maintenance and repair services.
- Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.
- Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment as required.
- Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and respond to trouble calls.
- Assist with small projects as needed.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of relevant HVAC experience if they have trade school certs, 6+ with our trade school
- Proficiency with exhaust fans and fan coil units.
- Experience with water-cooled condenser units and boiler units.
- EPA certification.
- Ability to oversee preventive maintenance tasks.
- Clean background/ability to pass routine drug tests
Nice to Haves:
- Master refrigeration certification.
- Burner license.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and maintenance practices.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
