Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer III
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 months
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer Level III with deep expertise in hydraulic modeling for natural gas pipeline systems, including mainline compression. This is an operations-focused role, not project-based, and requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced hydraulic modeling of natural gas pipeline systems, including compressor stations and mainline flow dynamics.

Conduct “what-if” scenario analysis to support operational decisions and pipeline optimization.

Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hydraulic and system performance issues.
Required Qualifications:

7–10 years of experience in hydraulic modeling within the natural gas industry, including mainline compression systems.

Proficiency with industry-specific software such as FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently through issue resolution.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $45.00 and $50.00
