Job Title: ICS Engineer II

Location: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid)
    
Estimated Duration: 12 Months

We are seeking a skilled SCADA OT Support Engineer to maintain and enhance our SCADA systems and OT (Operational Technology) infrastructure. This role is essential to keeping real-time data systems and industrial control environments reliable, secure, and compliant. You’ll work closely with engineering, IT, and field teams to support day-to-day operations and long-term improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support and troubleshooting for SCADA systems and associated OT assets (PLCs, RTUs, HMIs).

  • Monitor system health and ensure high uptime, data integrity, and performance across OT environments.

  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration management in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of SCADA networks, configurations, and operational procedures.

  • Support OT cybersecurity measures, including access control, patching, and network segmentation.

  • Assist with deployment and commissioning of new field equipment and SCADA components.

  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotation for SCADA-related alerts.

  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443).


Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting SCADA or industrial control systems in a production environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly Wonderware) or similar SCADA platforms (e.g., GE iFIX, Ignition, ClearSCADA).

  • Knowledge of PLC/RTU protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and IEC 60870.

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure: firewalls, switches, VLANs, and routers.

  • Experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware or Hyper-V).

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices for OT systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator across cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure industries (oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing).

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as NERC CIP or ISA/IEC 62443.

  • Familiarity with change management and configuration control systems.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $50.00 and $55.00
