Job Title: Inspecteur Dimensionnel

Location: Dorval, QC (Remote)
    
Estimated Duration: Fulltime

TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS ESSENTIELLES

  • Effectuer des prélèvements.

  • Réaliser des inspections visuelles et dimensionnelles.

  • Utiliser : micromètre, vernier, jauge de hauteur, jauge “passe/ne passe pas”.

  • Utiliser : projecteur de profil, jauge optique sans contact.

  • Utiliser : rugosimètre (jauge d’état de surface).

  • Utiliser : jauge d’épaisseur de revêtement.

  • Préparer les rapports d’inspection.

  • Réaliser l’inspection de la première pièce avant production.

  • Signaler les non-conformités au besoin.

  • Suivre les standards 5S.


EXIGENCES, COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES

  • Technicien mécanique/industriel ou expérience équivalente en inspection.

  • Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans et spécifications techniques.

  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en inspections dimensionnelles.

  • Œil critique pour identifier les défauts et les problèmes de qualité.

  • Bonne maîtrise de la suite Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Bilinguisme anglais/français, un atout.

  • Expérience dans l’aéronautique, la défense ou l’automobile, un atout.

  • Test d’ajustement : capacité à porter un masque respiratoire.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform sampling.

  • Carry out visual and dimensional inspections.

  • Use: micrometer, caliper, height gauge, go/no-go gauge.

  • Use: profile projector, non-contact optical gauge.

  • Use: surface roughness tester.

  • Use: coating thickness gauge.

  • Prepare inspection reports.

  • Perform first-piece inspection before production.

  • Report non-conformities as needed.

  • Follow 5S standards.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Mechanical/industrial technician diploma or equivalent inspection experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dimensional inspections.

  • Critical eye to identify defects and quality issues.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Bilingual in English/French, an asset.

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or automotive, an asset.

  • Fit test: ability to wear a respirator mask.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$22.00 and CA$27.00
