Position Overview:

The role offers operational support for materials storage, inventory, shipping, and receiving at our centralized material storage warehouse which supports the operations and maintenance of pipeline facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining material coordination, inventory controls, traceability, material receipts, and disposition. The position contributes to achieving operational and project cost, schedule, quality, and EH&S goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently manage warehouse operations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control using the inventory management system.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for pipes, fittings, and equipment required for Emergency Pipeline Repair.
  • Oversee the orderly distribution of operating and construction materials.
  • Consult with Regional Technical experts on asset disposition removed from service.
  • Work with Project Management personnel on surplus construction materials disposition.
  • Ensure proper documentation for material and equipment sales to the Capital Assets Department.
  • Assist in managing the warehouse operations budget and expense reports.
  • Ensure contractors are ISNetworld certified before starting work.
  • Conduct required Contractor Safety Orientations.
  • Comply with all mandatory safety training and Operations and Projects Safety Manuals.
  • Track all required safety metrics.
  • Be available evenings and weekends for emergency call-outs if required.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with Warehouse teammates.

Scope and Dimensions:

  • Daily activities include safety awareness, warehouse management, accurate inventory control, and inventory reviews.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and communication with internal and external customers.
  • Work within a team environment and as a contributing member of cross-functional teams.
  • Manage warehouse costs accurately.
  • Ensure the warehouse is neat, presentable, and compliant with OSHA and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • A related university degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent from an accredited college.
  • Seven or more years of experience in supply chain, construction, or manufacturing, focusing on warehouse, inventory, planning, quality, procurement, or equivalent.
  • Proven results in inventory control, planning, scheduling, and materials execution.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and personalities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • High level of internal and external customer service.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience using Oracle and Maximo for materials receiving and order fulfillment.
  • Enrollment in an SCM-related professional certification, such as PMAC or ISM.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $28.00 and $32.00
