Overview:
The Inspection & Resource Coordination Specialist supports inspection management, coordination of field resources, and light recruiting efforts within natural gas construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to collaborate across construction, commissioning, supply chain, and training teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in both field and virtual environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage inspection activities across multiple natural gas construction projects
- Support vendor and inspection resource coordination in partnership with supply chain and project teams
- Assist Construction Management & Inspection (CM&I) teams with resource planning and scheduling
- Provide coordination support for commissioning teams as needed
- Support the development and ongoing management of project tools and systems (including 4D tools)
- Maintain and track training compliance through Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ensure accuracy of documentation, reporting, and project data
- Assist with recruiting activities including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support
- Help maintain a pipeline of qualified inspection and field support personnel
- Follow all safety and environmental standards, promoting a culture of accountability and operational excellence
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in both office and field environments
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of in-field experience in natural gas construction, utilities, or similar industrial environments
- Strong Excel skills (formatting, formulas, and data tracking)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Experience supporting field operations, inspections, or construction activities
- Ability to work independently and in team-based environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or related field of study
- Industry certifications (e.g., API or similar)
- Experience supporting training programs, LMS systems, or workforce coordination
- Background in natural gas construction or pipeline projects
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $30.00 and $37.00
