Overview:
Our client, a leading organization in a complex IT environment, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to lead and support various lifecycle management and integration projects. This role involves working closely with internal teams, third-party vendors, and senior leadership to deliver business and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage medium-scale IT projects, particularly lifecycle management initiatives.
- Follow internal IT PMO Methodology to provide consistent and timely project updates.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
- Facilitate workshops (e.g., JAM/JAD sessions) for project charter development, planning, and deployment.
- Collaborate across multiple business units and stakeholders to build consensus and drive decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and internal service providers to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in large, complex environments.
- Proven experience delivering complex business and technical solutions.
- Strong background in managing integration projects and working with ERP-type applications.
- Experience navigating matrixed organizations and managing through influence.
- Familiarity with lifecycle management and IT infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Charts), SharePoint, and MS Project.
- Experience with Clarity (asset).
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
- ITIL Practitioner certification is an asset.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMI/PMP preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.
- Effective conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Workshop facilitation and business process transformation (nice-to-have).
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$95.00
