Inventory Analyst
Position Summary:

  • Responsible for the set-up, ordering and maintenance of Indirect Materials (Spare Parts and Consumable Items).  
  • Timely communication with various levels of management regarding current operations and new model development status and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and support model change activities, focusing on system readiness, change management, Indirect Parts ordering and tracking.
  • Track supplier shipment, material receiving and payment.
  • Interface daily with end users, warehouse staff, other internal facilities and external suppliers.
  • Process standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and coordinate projects as assigned.
  • Support / Prepare creation of commercial invoices & Delivery paperwork for international shipments.

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Business, Math, Science or Engineering
Experience:

  • 1-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory management in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in customs classification / Codes (ie HS codes, HAZMAT etc…)
  • Proven Project Management skills .
  • Knowledge in the areas of Production Control, Logistics, Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management.
  • Business process analysis and documentation experience would be an asset
  • Possess a strong aptitude for accurate numerical calculations and data manipulation
  • Proven problem identification and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and Team mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills:  Proficient in Microsoft software applications and aptitude to learn new systems. SAP operational experience would be an asset
  • Able to support overtime and on call requirements as and when needed
  • Flexible to work at Cambridge and Woodstock locations

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$31.71 and CA$31.71
