The Opportunity:
Team Lead – IT Asset Manager
The IT Asset Management Practice Lead – ServiceNow HAM Pro is the hardware asset management subject matter expert within the IT Asset Management organization. Reporting to the IT Asset Management Manager, this role provides functional leadership, technical expertise, and operational guidance for all hardware asset lifecycle activities and ServiceNow HAM Pro capabilities.
This role partners closely with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Security teams to ensure accurate asset data, strong lifecycle governance, and continuous improvement of Hardware Asset Management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow HAM Pro Ownership:
- Serve as the functional owner and SME for ServiceNow HAM Pro
- Configure, maintain, and optimize:
- Hardware asset lifecycles and workflows
- Asset models, normalization, and reconciliation rules
- Stockrooms, inventory locations, and transfers
- Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
Hardware Asset Lifecycle Leadership:
- Provide functional guidance to ITAM analysts supporting hardware assets
- Act as the escalation point for complex asset, inventory, and data integrity issues
- Ensure consistent execution of hardware asset lifecycle processes from procurement through disposal
- Drive improvements to asset utilization, accuracy, and lifecycle compliance
Collaboration & Enablement:
- Work closely with ServiceNow platform teams and key stakeholders across IT and Finance
- Support alignment between HAM Pro, CMDB, ITSM, and Procurement processes
- Assist the ITAM Manager with HAM?related strategy, roadmap planning, and initiatives
Reporting & Optimization:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track asset health and performance
- Support audits, physical inventories, and compliance activities
- Identify cost savings opportunities through reuse, lifecycle optimization, and improved inventory controls
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT Asset Management experience with a hardware focus
- Strong hands?on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro
- Solid understanding of ITAM lifecycle and ITIL?aligned practices
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments
- Ability to lead through expertise and influence
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, HAM Pro)
- ITIL v4 certification
- Experience with CMDB governance and data quality
- Familiarity with integrated ITAM (HAM + SAM) operating models

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85,000 and CA$100,000
