Job Title: IT – Data Solutions Developer IV
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Develop and maintain architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems, to handle the collection, storage, and retrieval of large datasets. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, pipeline design, and data aggregation and transformation. – Implement data privacy and security measures to ensure adherence to compliance standards and protection of sensitive information. – Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to present data insights to end-users effectively. – Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify data-related issues and ensure data quality and integrity. – Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data solutions to recommend and implement improvements to existing systems.
Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing principles.
  • Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline and workflow management tools. ( 5 to 8 years)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • AKKA/PEKKO- 2 to 3 years
  • Scala Exp- 5 years

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$80.00
