Business group: Technology risk transformation
leadership, and oversight of Enterprise Technology Cyber and IT Risk, and data protection globally. This includes leading partners and teams to address and remediate the Bank’s IT safeguards, systems, data risk and integrity, protection standards, fraud systems, internal control models, and risk practices in line with global regulatory expectations.
Project: Security remediation project for client’s US and LATAM offices. A third party has identified security gaps and opportunities for improvement, and these need to be addressed through working with the correct subject matter experts.

Typical Day in Role:
The main function of an IT Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities that include scope management, remediation tracking and performance reporting.
- Develop, track and project plans, timelines and scope including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising Partner closely with other members of functional.
- Communicate project status, challenges, escalations to leadership and ensure timely responses/remediation of issues
- Prepare executive level reporting to highlight project status
- Meet with stakeholders on a regular cadence
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- Overall 10+ years’ experience as project manager
- Hands-on experience with managing projects that have regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ability to design and develop content for strategic internal communications, including executive meetings, monthly updates, stakeholder engagements, specific business change updates.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Spanish is an asset.
- Strong MS suite skillset
- Experience with Microsoft projects software.
- Banking/FI experience is an asset
Soft Skills Required:
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- PMP or PMI certification
Best VS. Average Candidate:
Any candidate who has been project manager or PCO (Project coordinator) for most part who knows Spanish. Also, someone who has regulatory reporting experience.
