Senior IT Project Manager – Chief Security Office
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to spearhead our enterprise-wide Zscaler zero trust implementation. This role combines strong project management expertise with deep understanding of zero trust architecture to transform our healthcare security landscape.
Primary Project Focus:
Lead end-to-end implementation of Zscaler’s zero trust platform:
- Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) deployment
- Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) rollout
- Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) integration
- Cloud security posture management
- Manage phased migration from legacy security systems to zero trust architecture
- Coordinate integration with existing security tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for Zscaler implementation.
- Manage project budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Mitigate risks and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Lead cross-functional teams including security, network, and application teams.
- Track and report project metrics and KPIs.
- Manage stakeholder communications and change management.
Technical Knowledge Required:
Strong understanding of:
- Zero trust security principles and architecture
- Zscaler platform capabilities and components
- Cloud security and access management
- Identity and access management systems
- Security controls and frameworks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 10+ years combining project management and cybersecurity experience
- Proven track record managing enterprise-wide security transformation projects in healthcare or similarly regulated industries
- PMP Certification required
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP highly valued

- Proactive problem-solver with a security-first mindset.
- Strong communicator able to translate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
- Track record of successful change management in complex environments.
- Skilled in measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of zero trust implementations.
Impact: Lead the Health transformation to a zero trust security model, protecting critical healthcare data and systems while enabling secure digital healthcare delivery. This is a high-visibility project that will fundamentally transform our security architecture and set new standards for healthcare cybersecurity
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$73.65
