Job Description:
 
The HR Generalist plays a key role in delivering administrative, coordination, and systems support across the HR function, while also contributing to the successful implementation of the Workday Talent Management module. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives on organization, precision, and continuous learning. It offers the opportunity to build hands?on experience in HR operations, systems and administration within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
 
 
HR administration support:
 

  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to Tier 1 HR inquiries and route complex questions to the appropriate team members
  • Support recruitment coordination, background checks, and onboarding process
  • Maintain employee records and HR SharePoint content with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Process Workday and D365 transactions and assist with routine HR reporting
  • Coordinate HR invoices, purchase orders, and vendor interactions in partnership with Finance/AP
  • Work collaboratively with HR team members to support smooth workflows and contribute to ongoing process improvements
  • Support test planning and quality assurance activities for the Workday Talent Management module
  • Log, track, and validate defects in collaboration with the HR and Workday project teams
  • Document processes and contribute to the creation of user guides, work instructions, FAQs, and quick?reference materials
  • Partner with HR and Workday project team to ensure accurate defect tracking, resolution, and retesting
  • Post?secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, HRIS or a related discipline
  • Two or more years of experience in HR coordinator, HR operations, HRIS or administration
  • Workday experience

 
Qualifications:
 

  • 1-3 years experience in a HR role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint) is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and service orientation
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate across teams
  • Comfort working with structured information and process driven tasks

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$28.00 and CA$38.00
