Job Title: Lead Strategist, CRM & Loyalty

Location: Chicago, IL (Remote)

We are seeking a Lead Strategist, Loyalty & CRM to lead the strategy, design, optimization, and execution of CRM and loyalty initiatives, with a focus on customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and measurable ROI. This individual will guide all phases of CRM engagements—from discovery to deployment—leveraging expertise in segmentation, program design, modeling, campaign execution, and performance optimization. The strategist will collaborate with internal and client stakeholders across strategy, solutions engineering, and customer success to translate objectives into effective CRM and loyalty solutions. The ideal candidate brings agency experience, strong analytical and consulting skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning for CRM, loyalty, and retention programs

  • Map pain points to solutions and demonstrate business value and ROI

  • Define, benchmark, and track CRM and Loyalty KPIs

  • Execute end-to-end lifecycle and engagement strategies

  • Identify and mitigate security risks and enforce information security best practices

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and integrate protection measures throughout the data lifecycle

  • Communicate program performance and insights to internal and external stakeholders

  • Prepare and present strategy materials for client meetings and new business opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in CRM, loyalty strategy, marketing, or communications (agency experience required)

  • Strong background in data-driven marketing, user-level targeting, and analytics

  • Hands-on experience with Adobe stack (CDP, AJO, CJA) or Salesforce is a plus

  • Understanding of information security protocols and data privacy compliance

  • Strategic, self-motivated, and adaptable in high-speed environments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and client-facing professionalism

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $70.00 and $82.00
