Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location:   Pearland, Texas
Duration:  3 – 6 Month Contract

Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics operations including material movements, shipment coordination, inventory reconciliation, and SAP system maintenance. This role ensures accurate tracking of materials from receipt through storage, production support, and final delivery while maintaining compliance with company procedures and standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments, including freight, imports, exports, and customs documentation
  • Prepare logistics documentation including Bills of Lading, packing lists, shipping labels, dispatch lists, and courier documents (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile on-hand inventory against material requirements
  • Perform SAP transactions related to inventory, warehousing, and material movements
  • Track materials through receipt, QC, warehouse storage, and shipment stages
  • Maintain freight logs and support coding of freight invoices and collection of Proof of Delivery (PODs)
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies and support resolution efforts
  • Run and distribute reports related to inventory, shipments, scrap, and material status
  • Support warehouse operations and ensure accuracy of material handling and stock levels
  • Assist in improving and maintaining warehouse and logistics SOPs and workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, QC, IT, and internal stakeholders
  • Support training and guidance on SAP-related warehouse processes as needed
  • Analyze blocked stock and ensure proper system and physical location alignment

Required Qualifications

  • SAP experience (inventory, warehouse, or materials transactions required)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of warehouse and logistics operations
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving ability with a focus on process improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with import/export and customs documentation
  • Experience improving or developing warehouse/logistics SOPs
  • Experience supporting or training others on SAP systems
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with IT or operations teams

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and office environments
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 45 lbs as needed
  • Computer-based work with both remote and on-site responsibilities

 

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $26.00 and $35.00
