Job description:
Working on the Toronto Halcion mainframe team software development team. Supporting in-house developed tool for compiling, code deployment and promotes. Support developers on integrating changes and deployments to production. Collaborate with Shared Services release coordinators. Collaborate on other teams' releases. Support weekend implementations. Support and maintain Halcion team's various test environments. Assist in obtaining change requests to approve promotes to production.
Opportunity to develop on Halcion team. Working on production support team to resolve production issues and ad hoc requests.
This is a posting for an integrator on the mainframe with opportunities to develop as a mainframe developer.
Years of experience: 3+ years but will consider junior
Minimum requirements:
Fast learner, self-starter, working in a fast paced environment, multi-tasking, ability to work independently, collaborate with many teams, collaborate with multiple release coordinators, using tools on MVS and skills in TSO/ISPF, weekend support for releases.
Working on Halcion production support team, contributing by assisting and resolving production issues, analyzing and developing changes to improve processes and enhancing the system.
Technologies required:
ServiceNow. JIRA, Confluence, Control-M or equivalent scheduler, Lotus Notes, MVS, Cobol, JCL, CLIST, SAS, SFTP, REXX
Asset: CICS Webservice, CI/CD pipeline, Java, Jenkins, Github
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$60.00 and CA$70.00
