What You’ll Do:
The Manager, Advertising Operations will lead a team of media execution specialists, overseeing all activation of paid media campaigns for Triangle Retail Media – across platforms like onsite and offsite search (sponsored product ads), social media and programmatic display and video. This role will help shape the campaign and channel best practices for Triangle Retail Media, ensuring our media solutions are highly measurable and performant.

You’ll build strong relationships with a variety of teams, including Sales, Accounts, Planning and Product, helping to develop best-in-class media solutions and processes for TRM. Your leadership will foster a team culture puts personal accountability, strong communication and iterative improvement at the core of all day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities
·       Personal Accountability & Team Leadership

    • Take ownership of campaign outcomes for both yourself and your team.
    • Lead and inspire the ad operations team, setting high-performance standards and championing professional development
    • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Communication
    • Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with Sales, Accounts, Planning, and Product stakeholders.
    • Ensure transparent, proactive communication to align campaign goals and execution.
  • Documentation & Maintenance of Media Execution Best Practices
    • Document and maintain media campaign execution processes and best practices.
    • Incorporate historical learnings to refine and improve future campaigns.
  • Measurable Improvement of Performance Outcomes
    • Establish rigorous processes for analyzing campaign performance.
    • Optimize campaigns to maximize effectiveness and ROI, tracking progress against clear, measurable objectives.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for product and measurement improvement, for incorporation into TRM’s product and measurement roadmaps
  • Client-First Escalation Resolution
    • Resolve campaign escalations promptly and proactively, always prioritizing client needs.
  • Process Efficiency
    • Seek out and ruthlessly eliminate inefficiencies in media operations and trafficking workflows.
    • Leverage technology and automation to streamline manual tasks.
  • Partner Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with media and technology partners, including Meta, Google, Criteo, and others.

What you Bring:
·       7+ years of digital marketing experience (agency, client, or publisher side)
·       Proven success in scaling ad operations and managing large budgets
·       Experience in leading and cultivating highly proficient teams that build trust with internal and external partners
·       A personal sense of accountability for client campaign outcomes
·       Expertise in media buying platforms, ad serving, and partner management
·       Autonomous, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement
·       Retail or Commerce Media experience is an asset
·       An openness to use technology and AI to streamline and automate manual, low-value tasks
