The Manager, Solution will guide a team of solution architects and collaborate with various departments to design and implement comprehensive Solution architectures. This role demands deep expertise in architecture principles, exceptional leadership abilities, and the proficiency to translate complex security requirements into practical, actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solution architects.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages team growth and innovation.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.

Solution Design:

  • Develop and articulate architectural vision for complex solutions.
  • Ensure that solutions meet both business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Develop and articulate architectural vision for complex solutions.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance during the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure best practices in software architecture are upheld across projects.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement continuous improvement processes for architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Encourage innovation within the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture or related roles.
  • Proven experience managing a team of architects or technical professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex solutions across various domains and platforms, including customer-facing, digital, retail, or supply chain applications.
  • Strong technical expertise in cloud computing (Azure), microservices architecture, API design, security frameworks, etc.
  • Proficiency in Event Hub, AKS, APIM is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus among diverse teams.
  • Experience with SAFe agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$81,000 and CA$131,000
