Job Title: Marketing Manager III
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Job Description
The Product Manager – Special Assignment Commercialization will be responsible for identifying and delivering bold, high-impact, low-cost initiatives that dramatically increase awareness, adoption, and sales momentum for client’s Clover merchant offering.
This role is designed to augment an established commercialization team with breakout thinking and practical execution. The mandate: generate measurable results that are creative, scalable, and unforgettable.
You will:

  • Identify unconventional but executable commercialization opportunities that accelerate growth
  • Develop initiatives that create viral momentum, word-of-mouth advocacy, or meaningful differentiation in-market
  • Create tools, campaigns, or experiences that make it dramatically easier for Sales to win
  • Translate bold ideas into business cases with measurable KPIs and ROI
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and executive stakeholders to align, secure approvals, and execute
  • Work within client governance and funding frameworks while creatively maximizing impact
  • Track, measure, and report results — learning fast and iterating intelligently

This is not a role focused on incremental optimization. It is a role focused on step-change outcomes.
Who You Are
You are creative — and disciplined.
You are visionary — and practical.
You don’t just brainstorm ideas. You build movements.
You may come from Marketing, product strategy, brand strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, or growth roles. Perhaps you’ve launched something that caught fire. Perhaps you’ve built a side venture that gained traction. Perhaps you’ve reimagined a tired proposition and turned it into something people talked about.
You understand that AI can generate ideas. What differentiates you is your ability to:

  • Spot the one idea that matters
  • Shape it into something executable
  • Mobilize stakeholders
  • Deliver measurable commercial results

You are comfortable challenging conventional thinking — respectfully and collaboratively. You bring energy. You inspire teams. You help people see what’s possible.
You understand how companies like Starbucks reframed the café as a “third place,” or how Febreze repositioned from early failure to breakthrough success — not because they created more ads, but because they shifted the narrative.
You are here to help shift ours.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Growth, Innovation, or Commercialization
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable commercial impact
  • Strong storytelling and executive communication skills
  • Comfort navigating governance, approvals, and cross-functional alignment in a large organization
  • Bias toward action and experimentation
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to define and track meaningful success metrics
  • A portfolio, examples, or stories that demonstrate breakthrough thinking turned into real-world results
