This role will be part of the Regional Enterprise Marketing team within our clients Ads team, an international team (regions incl. e.g. EU5, CA, JP, LATAM) responsible for all awareness and consideration driving business-to-business (B2B) brand marketing initiatives in their respective region. The team partners with global brand, event and content marketing teams as well as regional business leaders to deliver brand campaigns and initiatives that engage and delight our international customers. Our key initiatives include hosting their Ads Branded events, participating at key industry events with event content, editorial content in trade publications and paid media campaigns.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for Canada (temporary maternity leave cover from April 2025 to May 2026). Primary outputs for this role include creating regionally-relevant marketing initiatives with a strong focus on implementing cross channel marketing. Examples include client-owned events, industry events, digital marketing campaigns, trade content and narratives to drive awareness, brand familiarity, and consideration amongst our advertiser and agency audiences.

The ideal candidate has executed B2B marketing campaigns in either a global or local capacity, has relevant experience within the media agency industry and has a passion for storytelling and creating thought leadership content. The right person will be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including regional sales leads, content marketers, event marketers, and data analysts. This is a fast-moving role, requiring strong prioritization and communication skills. Day-to-day activities will change constantly as our business grows and this person can expect to build marketing programs that reaches thousands of advertisers. Being flexible and comfortable with ambiguity will be required for success. The ideal candidate is able to conduct themselves autonomously, successfully manage a demanding project pipeline, and effectively communicate and foster strong relationships with the team.

Key job responsibilities
 

  • Execute the country marketing plan aligned to local business needs and priorities with sales leaders and global marketing; contribute to marketing business reviews to measure the effectiveness of local marketing programs
  • Create a strategy for cross-channel marketing in Canada connected to tentpole moments, and own the execution thereof (initiatives can include email marketing strategy, digital marketing, research and insights generation, event communications and promotions, etc)
  • Ownership and planning of the Ads team presence at industry events, and hosted executive engagement and hospitality event. Deliverables include event strategy, stakeholder management, branding, content creation, speaker briefing, onsite execution, measurement and reporting.
  • Collaborating with global teams, partner teams, and event marketing manager on larger company hosted events, supporting with event strategy, event comms and GTM, and project management
  • Collaborate with content marketing manager for development and distribution of customer-facing content like customer case studies, insights, and other forms of branded content to support awareness and consideration goals.
  • Identify the relevant marketing channels to effectively communicate with our advertising customers in region such as paid media, email, website strategy, build and implement the cross-channel rollout for these channels connected to objectives
  • Work cross-functionally with the central marketing team, product, sales, and analysts, legal, and PR to deliver accurate positioning and storytelling of our products and solutions
About the team
The Regional Enterprise Marketing team exists to accelerate adoption of the Ads’ full-funnel solutions by engaging enterprise brand customers and large agency partners across international locales. We are local customer obsessed, and our team is tasked with delivering high-impact, scalable brand moments that drive awareness and consideration of Ads solutions, while reflecting regional cultures and environments.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$35.00 and CA$35.77
