Description of Assignment
Our client requires a Senior IBM Maximo Manage SME to provide hands-on functional, configuration, and implementation expertise for the Client’s IBM Maximo Manage implementation for the Corporate Real Estate Management Division.
 
The specialist will support Maximo Manage design, configuration, data migration, and integration design and build, testing, cutover/go-live preparation, stabilization, and knowledge transfer. At minimum, the assignment will focus on facilities maintenance, asset and location management, service requests, work management, preventive maintenance, inspections, mobile work execution, vendor/contractor processes, security, workflow, reporting, and SAP/SAP BTP integration touchpoints.
 
Assignment Duties
The Senior IBM Maximo Manage Contractor will provide senior-level Maximo Manage expertise to support the Client’s implementation planning and delivery activities. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.          Provide hands-on Maximo Manage functional and configuration expertise for facilities maintenance, asset management, and work management processes. 
2.          Support the Client’s transition from SAP PM to Maximo Manage by advising on process alignment, configuration approach, data readiness, integration touchpoints, testing, cutover, go-live preparation, and stabilization. 
3.          Support requirements review, fit/gap analysis, solution design, configuration planning, build validation, testing support, defect triage, cutover/go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization. 
4.          Advise on Maximo Manage configuration for service requests, work orders, demand maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, job plans, locations, assets, classifications, meters, workflows, security groups/roles, escalations, notifications, start centers, reports, and dashboards. 
5.          Support design decisions for end-to-end facilities maintenance processes, including service request intake, work order lifecycle, dispatching, internal field execution, mobile work execution, vendor/contractor work, deficiency/follow-on work, inspections, materials, and equipment assets. 
6.          Review and provide input on configuration workbooks, design documents, process designs, integration specifications, data mapping documents, test scenarios, release documentation, and other project deliverables. 
7.          Support Maximo Manage data readiness activities, including target data structure review, data mapping input, data validation rules, reconciliation support, and triage of data issues related to Maximo configuration. 
8.          Provide input into integration requirements and design considerations involving Maximo Manage, SAP, SAP BTP, MREF/TRIRIGA, reporting platforms, mobile applications, vendor/contractor solutions, and other City systems. 
9.          Support testing activities by reviewing test scenarios and test cases, validating configuration behaviour, supporting defect triage, and identifying whether issues are related to configuration, data, integration, access/security, workflow, or process design. 
10.        Advise on environment promotion and release readiness across development, test, pre-production, and production environments, including validation, reconciliation, issue tracking, and release documentation. 
11.        Troubleshoot and support resolution of Maximo Manage issues related to workflow, data, security/access, reporting, integrations, performance, and configuration. 
12.        Support reports and dashboards, including Maximo reporting/BIRT where applicable, SQL-based validation, report testing, and troubleshooting. 
13.        Identify Maximo Manage implementation risks and recommend practical options that support standard functionality, minimize unnecessary customization, and protect supportability and upgradeability. 
14.        Participate in workshops, design reviews, sprint reviews, demonstrations, issue triage sessions, testing meetings, cutover planning, go-live readiness activities, and knowledge transfer sessions. 
15.        Provide knowledge transfer to City staff on Maximo Manage concepts, configuration decisions, data dependencies, integration considerations, testing implications, and sustainment needs
 
Qualifications
The Senior IBM Maximo Manage Contractor must have:
1.          Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing IBM Maximo Manage / Maximo Asset Management / Maximo Enterprise Asset Management in production environments. 
2.          Successfully delivered at least three (3) production implementations of Maximo. At least one (1) of those implementations must have been delivered on IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) version 8.x or 9.x.
3.          Demonstrated experience implementing end-to-end maintenance processes, including service requests, work order management, demand/corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, vendor work management, materials, locations, and equipment assets in Maximo.
4.          Practical experience configuring core Maximo components, including Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflow, Security Groups/Roles, escalations, communication templates, classifications, assets, locations, job plans, and PMs. 
5.          Familiarity with Maximo Integration Framework, REST/JSON API patterns, inbound/outbound interfaces, and coordination with enterprise middleware or integration teams. 
6.          Familiarity with SAP-to-Maximo integration concepts, including work orders/statuses, assets, locations, vendors, procurement/financial touchpoints, and related master/reference data. 
7.          Familiarity with Maximo reporting, BIRT report development or maintenance, SQL-based validation, data analysis, and troubleshooting. 
8.          Experience with System Integration Testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing, defect triage, data validation, environment promotion, release readiness, cutover/go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization. 
9.          Ability to work with business users, technical teams, vendors, system integrators, SAP teams, and project leadership to resolve design, configuration, data, testing, and integration issues
  
Deliverables
1.          Maximo Manage design recommendations, configuration options, and decision notes. 
2.          Review comments on configuration workbooks, workflows, security, reports, dashboards, mobile setup, and related implementation artifacts. 
3.          Configuration/build validation findings, including issues, gaps, risks, and recommended corrections. 
4.          Fit/gap findings, assumptions, risks, and recommended resolution options. 
5.          Data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness input. 
6.          Integration review input for SAP/SAP BTP, MREF/TRIRIGA, APIs, mappings, error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, and testing. 
7.          Test scenario input, defect triage notes, root-cause analysis, and configuration validation findings. 
8.          Release and environment promotion readiness input across development, test, pre-production, and production environments. 
9.          Cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization readiness input. 
10.        Knowledge transfer notes, walkthroughs, job aids, or sustainment support documentation. 
11.        Regular status updates, issue/risk inputs, blockers, and recommended next steps. 
Deliverables may be provided as formal documents, review comments, workingsession outputs, annotated artifacts, decision notes, issue logs, or other written outputs accepted by the Client Project Manager
 

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$110.00 and CA$120.00
