Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer for their Burnaby location.
Overview:
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC and Fire Protection design experience
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and revision of engineering drawings associated with Mechanical engineering works for client Station Mechanical System projects.
- Use a variety of computer-aided drafting, modeling and parametric design applications to depict work in two and three dimensions and manage drawings using a computerized drawing records management system.
- Use drawings for site preparations and layouts, facility construction, and electrical infrastructure design and installation including details of equipment, assemblies, and components.
- Create customized drawings for non-standard engineering and design projects.
Experience:
- Must have 8 years experience with HVAC and Fire Protection design
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- P.Eng
- Experience drafting for generation station Mechanical systems. .
- Autodesk and other CADD applications drafting work experience
- Experience doing computer aided drafting/design (CADD) for a utility or a similar industry
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$73.00 and CA$91.00
