Overview:
We are seeking a Facilities Design Engineer to oversee pump station facility design for capital expansion and maintenance projects. This role ensures third-party engineering work meets company and industry standards while staying on budget and schedule. The engineer will act as a key liaison between project teams, operations, and shared services to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective designs.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee third-party design deliverables for pump station facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, codes, and corporate standards.

Define scope, schedule, and budget for facility design and materials.

Review and approve drawings, reports, and material specifications.

Support project execution by coordinating with Project Managers, Operations, and Construction teams to address design and constructability issues.

Evaluate vendor quotations and recommend equipment/material selections.

Incorporate lessons learned and quality improvements into future projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.

4+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technical evaluations.
Working Conditions:

Office-based (80%) with field visits (20%) for scoping, procurement, and construction support.

Requires ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $72.00 and $78.00
