Trade Analyst Responsibilities: | Ongoing: 1. Real-time entering, modifying and closing MEI Promotion based on KAM inputs to a shared excel [process TBD based on best-practices] 2. True-up to POS data (Top [50] promotions, monthly) 3. One time retroactive true-up of top 80% Spend for 2024 Promotions 4. Manages Customer portal submissions (LCL, WM and other in-house retailers) Weekly: 1. Weekly review of O/S Deductions, including actioning approved resolutions 2. Weekly KPI tracking (including promo status, contract management, approvals) and follow-ups with KAMs Monthly: 1. Monthly trade review, Preview/Close and ad-hoc reporting and analysis (biz, finance, audit) 2. Audit Monitoring & resolution |
Requirements: | • Bachelor’s degree required • 3+ years of managing CPG related trade promotions using Telus MEl/Exceedra • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, complex formulas) • Provide hands on support to Key Account Managers to resolve issues • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Team player with ability to influence others, help with trade spend accuracy, timely processing of deductions and compliance • Ability to communicate and translate insights to end users • Ability to provide recommendations and creative solutions to problems • Ability to work through ambiguity, manage multiple projects, work independently, think creatively, implement improvements and work in a team environment • Favourable but not required: Experience using Nielsen, Springboard, and Other Syndicated POS data providers |
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$30.00 and CA$40.00
