Job Title: MS Access Development Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 6 Months
MS Access Development Specialist
The candidate will support the sustainment of a specific tool set developed using Microsoft Access. These tools are ancillary to PFR’s use of the Client’s Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS) for the Urban Forestry branch.
The Urban Forestry branch has developed six (6) tools in Microsoft Access to support specific operational activities. These activities are not managed in Maximo, the current, work management tool. These tools were originally developed inhouse to (partially) digitize and modernize the subject operational activities. They were subsequently updated and improved by a contracted MS Access developer to remove issues inherent in MS Access tools and to better align them with AG requirements related to Urban Forestry Operations.
With these tools in place there is now a need to have a resource available for sustainment, both to address any issues that may arise with these tools and also to action any changes required by operational improvements of AG requirements.
The Specialist, in collaboration with business subject matter experts, will respond to incidents or change requests identified by business operations and managed through the PFR Information Services group.
The Specialist’s engagement will be on an ad-hoc basis.
