Position Title: Network Analyst

Business group: GTEP – Strategy & Tools
The team consists of innovative thinkers and problem solvers with the mission to help deliver a network that is highly available and resilient. The team manages network monitoring tools to provide visibility of the network across the globe. The team informs management decisions by providing reports and insights on network performance.
Projects:
There is a server migration which is part of a client cloud migration project. The project requires a dedicated person with a very good background in the AlgoSec application to be part of the project team.
Candidate Value Proposition:
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Networks reporting and tools team. The team consists of innovative thinkers and problem solvers with the mission to help deliver a network that is highly available and resilient. The team manages network monitoring tools to provide visibility of the network across the globe. The team informs management decisions by providing reports and insights on network performance.
Typical Day in Role:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Responsible for working on and managing network incidents and tasks associated with the existing set of network monitoring tools.
- Responsible for overall management of applicable network monitoring tools. This includes supporting the resolution of issues with the network, network devices, firewalls and the production of reports.
- Cross-train and support other members of the team.
- Escalate incidents as required and keep management informed of status on major incidents associated with the network monitoring tool.
- Participate in meetings related to incident management.
- Work with partners, vendors and internal design teams on road mapping and implementing any new network monitoring tools.
- Responsible for administering global networks change management, intake and request queue.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with client’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- You have 10+ years of experience as a Network Analyst
- You have at least 5 years of hands-on technical working experience with Cisco networking devices, routers, switches and firewalls
- You have at least 5 years of hands-on technical working experience with TCP/IP networking such as routing, switching, security, WAN and data center technologies
- You have at least 3 years of hand on technical working experience with networking monitoring tools, such as, SevOne, Algosec, Thousand Eyes, with a strong focus on AlgoSec
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience in working various OS including Linux, Windows
- Experience in Cloud environments including Azure and Google
- You are strong technically, highly innovative and enjoys driving continuous improvement
- Experience in a banking/FI industry
Soft Skills Required:
- You are a self-starter with strong collaboration skills able to work in a team environment or individually.
Education & Certificates:
- Pref for Bachelor of Engineering Science/Electrical engineering
- CCNP certified.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
- Strong background in AlgoSec application or other firewall management system

1st round – Teams – 30 mins – HM + Panel (Technical)
2nd round – Teams – 30 minutes – HM + Panel (Technical)
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$75.00 and CA$85.00
